Hey There I tried a bunch of different tubes for my miniwatt amp: ge,rca, sylvania, and my favorite of the bunch were western electric 403b or 6ak5. For my set up they were the most detailed with the best sound stage. I ordered a bunch so pm me if your interested.

ps I also have a pair of ge 5 stars nos nib.

Hi, I tried to PM you, but I kept getting a "body empty error"  anyway, here was the text of my PM (dont think its a problem to post this)

I saw on an ef95 tube thread that you had some available.  I have a little dot I+ and I'm looking for something with a nice expansive sound stage.  I don't feel the need for the tubes to be really "neutral" as tubes are better IMO when they bring a warmer fuller sound.  If the 403b's or 6ak5's will work in the LD I+, I'd be interested.  I currently am using mullard 8161's which are ef92s.  I'm assuming that the 403b's and 6ak5's are a KIND of tube and are not in the ef95 family?  I dont have a lot of experience with tubes, so any clarity you can bring would be appreciated.  thanks.
