Cheapest usb amp/dac that offers best sound quality.

I am looking for a new soundcard for my new Linux build, but though I should also look at small usb dac's.  I have 60ohm headphones if that means anything.  I'm not looking for anything overly fancy, just something that plays the audio well.  It needs to work with Linux, I've read units like the udac don't.  I don't want to spend more than $80.

I know my Maverick Tube Magic D1 will power 600 Beyers just fine.  I think it will only go up to 16/44 in linux if that matters.  Its only 200 + 15 S&H.

You suggest buying something for $215 when the budget is $80?

Oops.  That what I get for trying to multi-task a little to much.

This is solid and cheap ($160) and there are plenty of reviews.  If you're looking for a cheaper avenue you won't be too disappointed.

Headroom Total Bithead.

If the budget can't be pushed a little more then the Total Airhead which is only $99.
