About the Audio GD NFB1, I have no information, but a good PSU is always a good thing.

 

The Audio GD is balanced, you have XLR output. The Eastern Electric is only single ended.

Just got my Eastern Electric DAC a couple of days ago, so far, very pleased. Using the tube dac part, and a Burson HD-160 amp, the sound is really a great step up from my two year old compass. Running my T1's off of it and the detail that was missing before really shines through.

Just got my Eastern Electric minimax tube dac and I love it I have it running into a Shiit Lyr and with the tube output pressed it really calmed down the Lyr sounds incredible. Im so glad I went with the Sabre Dac.

The thing to do is investigate what either your pre amp, power amp or integrated does. At the end of the day though not too many people can detect out of phase signals. So since Im just using the Dac rca out to a Shiit Lyr I should just leave it on normal ?

Agreed, also have mine with the Lyr.

Also have the Musical Fidelity V-link to take care of the USB problems mentioned in some of the reviews.

 

Very happy with this setup, and my T-1, LCD-2, and HE-6 are so happy, they sing!
