As mentioned by Bilavideo, I am the buyer of the RSA Mustang P-51 with the broken gain switch that he bought from Popspin7.  I also remember reading Popspin7's FS: RSA P-51 Mustang thread with the "You know the amp, pix show the condition." I was also familair with the amp having bought a Predator (basically a Mustang P-51 with a DAC) and I would never have noticed the missing toggle switch.

 

Bottom line is that Bilavideo stepped up big time to pay for the amp's repair and I want to say what a pleasure it has been dealing with him on this issue.  It is the Head-Fi members like him that make me proud to a Head-Fi member and I commend him for his Popspin7 feedback thread. We have a duty to look out for each other to better serve this communitty.

I just want to point out that after I stepped up to pay for that switch, Popspin7 contacted me and offered to pay the money out of his own pocket.  As it turned out, there was nothing wrong with that switch.  When we discovered the issue, edpoz refunded me the money I had refunded him - so everyone connected with this sale actually showed tremendous integrity.  Nobody tried to scam anybody, which is why Headfi is such an amazing community.
