Driving songs: music to relax in traffic

Hi everybody,
 

What kind of music do you usually listen to when you are doing a trip, or stuck in a traffic jam, or simply going out in the night and you just need to get relaxed all the way?

Good one, haha. Wasn't expecting that after all of Demetrio's links. Caught me off guard all right. 

 

The best is driving in an empty highway in the early hours of the morning with the highway lights as your only source of light playing some deep house, jazzy, tunes. Might be just me but both go together great.

OK for something different!  When I'm going on a highway trip I'll always take "Eat A Peach" or "Live At The Fillmore" by the Allman Bros. Band.. The perfect cruising music for me!! JMO..

I think Californication by the Chilli Peps is a good driving cd. I took a road trip around the time it was released ( when was that? '99 or something?), and really liked it. Personally I can't listen to anything too relaxing while sitting in traffic or I'll want to just go to sleep! Haha. And there is some music I shouldn't listen to while driving because I might a ticket, Rage Against the Machine anyone? Yeah, bad news for me ;)
