Hi,

I would say briefly compared to the HD800s that i just acquired, these SA5000s have a slightly brighter treble and definitely more bass impact. It's supremely comfortable as well and the most commonly mentioned trait of the SA5000s are the speed and detail. In this respect, i think they are definitely at least on par with the HD800s.
