Hi all,

I'm going to be headed overseas ina  few weeks and won't always have access to a way to charge up my iphone/ipod.  I thought I had seen somewhere a device someone made that charges their ipd from AA batteries. Anyone here ever done anything like that?  I'm thinking maybe 4 AA's in an altoids tin?

If so, how did it work out?  Take long to charge?  What might I need?  Thanks!

energizer makes a 4xAA iPod charger, usually around $10 on ebay. It includes the short cable to connect to the iPod.
