Seriously the colors in the new forum are still too bright. I know there were other threads complaining about the new look and functionality of the site. But none of the other problems make it literally painful (for my eyes) to visit this site. And the white background just makes it worse. I feel like going here is seriously damaging to my eyes. And yes you can turn down the brightness on the monitor, and that helps somewhat. But still guys, why this color scheme?

I just received my SigPros (bought from a fellow head-fi'er), and now have several hours with them. They are great headphones. Agree with most of what everyone's saying about them. These...

Beats out the Bose Triport, the HD 202 and HD 435s, the AT M35 and AT M50. Just try it and see. Extremely comfortable (I wear mine while commuting and studying, for about 5+ hours a day). Bought...

I never thought it was possible for such rich sound from a headphone. Simply amazing headphones.

When I first put them on on I though that the highs will blow my head off. My ears got tired after 10 - 15 minutes. I though I would throw them out of the window. But having read some good...

I like the clean new look. The background IMO is fine and isn't any worse than most other web pages I visit. Then again, my monitor has a 'text' mode that I keep it on that dulls out really bright whites, so I never get eye fatigue. The only thing I don't like is the learning curve over the old forum (i.e., where things are, how to edit and such).

Try turning down your contrast as well. Even with brightness turned down, the vivid clash of the contrasting colours and shades could be enough to fatigue your eyes.

or instead of forcing us to adjust brightness, contrast, and gamma every time we visit head-fi (which is very roundabout, and means we have to readjust every time we want to watch a movie, for instance)...
they could offer a few color schemes to choose from! i'd love a version with black/dark-blue background and white/light-blue text. this would be a godsend for our eyes

Yea I thought it was really bright at first but after editing my monitor's brightness and contrast I've grown accustomed to it. I think it's alright now; I kind of like it. Slightly more bloated than the other format though :/
