What exactly does it do? Plug into your amp? Is it better then connecting amp to iPhone 3.5mm jack?

Hi Sam,

 

Can you post a pic of the top of the core silver LOD? I'm just curious how the hole is covered up... possibly the same as the stranded silver one?

I'm sorry, I don't own an iPhone 3gs, but it works well with the iPhone 3g
