Gift Cards

Do you guys think i should trade in a $25 best buy gift card for a $21 amazon gift card?

Errr...why would you do that unless there's nothing you really want in Best Buy?  I'm saying that as someone who gets his paycheck from Amazon, and while I would love for you to spend money with the company, I kinda need some background as to why you're considering that.

amazon sells everything cheaper than bestbuy and has many headphones i might consider buying in the future.

I would, it makes sense to me.

x2 on that

My boss thought he was being nice getting me a lot of gift cards from Best Buy with my Christmas bonus.  Until yesterday (sale on the Wii) there was literally nothing I wanted.  The mark up was too much for me to justify it.  A 21 dollar gift card at Amazon is worth like a 50 dollar on at Best Buy IMO.

I say do it

Think you have your answer on that then.  If you don't want anything at Best Buy and the economics make sense, go for it if you can.

Well, Best Buy gift cards don't expire, so you could always hold onto it until there's actually something you want to buy from them.

However, if there is an immediate purchase that you have in mind from Amazon, I'd say do the swap.
