Hello,

This is my first post here and want to say thanks for the great info..

There is so much I am having a hard time finding what I want :(

I am brand new to iPod my last player was a Sony Discman 10 years ago hehehe

I would like to add onw MP3 player app and was hoping to find a HOW TO / REVIEW Page as I am a babe in the woods with iPods but a fair hand with building CPUs

Thanks Much,

I hope this question dosen't violate the TOS Policy here..

I've had good luck with Mozilla's Songbird, but recently I've tried another... wait, I cannot find it. Wait, what OS are you using?

Thanks Much for replies :)

I just found I can add MP3s to iTunes without using a Non iTunes app..

I think I am good..

Why would you use a non iTunes ?

I thought I had to either buy iTunes songs or have CDs

I see I can add FLCs but I can convert them to MP3s

So whats the advantage of SongBird and Monkey?????

Sorry to ask what I know has been asked so many times..

For Mediamonkey at least, it's the option of autoconverting incompatible files for the iPod/iPhone. I personally prefer Foobar and foo_dop, as it is my main audio player anyway.
