FS: Klipsch X10 headphones new - Page 5

Uh been silent cause I have been moving,  just got internet and cable today in our new home in Los Angeles.  Not scamming anybody.  I will post clear and detailed pictures, close ups of every angle.  All the pieces and such.  I can't believe the behavior on here and the witch hunt.  Some of you need to get a life.  I have been moving I said I would be moving and in the process of unpacking  two giant Uhauls,  a car on a trailer, truck bed, and car filled with lots of stuff,  well, head fi is the last place I will be trying to post on via iphone which is all I had and bad coverage by AT & T ( big surprise)  Anyway this has gone way too far in terms of what has been said and bashing.  I told everyone on here that the purchaser never contacted me about anything and by now after dragging me through the dirt, isn't exactly the right way to bring any concerns to the table.  NOTHING was put into a ziploc bag,  that is complete BS.  Anyway.  The picture will speak for themselves.  Unreal people.  Seriously guys like Tomek should get a life and contact me directly.  Thats unfair instead of coming on here and posting and making us look like jerks.  Wow.  Good job!

You are welcome. You scammed by saying that it was new and sealed blah blah blah been said many times already. Good luck selling here in the future as your reputation has now been tarnished either way.

LordofVolume, how did I make 'us' look like jerks.  You look like a jerk, and you didn't have to.  You could have apologized and made an effort to rectify the situation but instead you have done the opposite and refused to admit that you've done anything wrong.

Don't tell me what I got or didn't get with your package.  It was a little opened, unmarked box with a little ziploc bag inside and no adapter.  You know that these headphones were not 'sealed in original packaging' because you described them to me this way in a PM after I had asked you why a previous buyer was unhappy with his pair.

"But that set sounded pretty awesome and his set came with new ear pieces but I had tried them (not the ear pieces).  I ended up selling these to get the X10i."

And as for why I posted this publicly instead of PM'ing you first, it's because you had already pulled this stunt with another buyer so I thought to make it public that I wasn't happy with the transaction, which is my right and in fact my responsibility.

You are clearly being dishonest here and I really doubt that anyone will buy from you again.  Why don't you give some kind of refund to the people you deceived or will you keep insisting that you instead did us a huge favor.

you could have contacted me via email or pm and I would have been more than willing to refund your dough.  Instead you choose to smear me.  That in itself is lame.  Misunderstanding happen.  Sometimes we make a mistake but that isn't reason to burn someone.  I am not dishonest.  And like I have offered before anybody in the area can come by and listen to them for as long as they don't abuse them ( distortion via amp )

I have been on here for years and sold and bought all kinds of stuff.  And you sir are the first to open this up to the forum instead of asking for a refund.  It's a bit late.  You got a very good deal.  If you wanted new with the special little box then you should have bought them new.  I was honest that they were "new" because I indeed never put them on.  You might also be confused with another ad I had up which listed them as been used before but with new ear pieces.

So there you go.  You choose the wrong way to handle this.  Grow up.  Get a life and get off the internet and do something else then bitch like a bitch.

Wow man thats kinda low.  What if my parents were from Vietnam?  wow.  Anyway,  I did not lie,  I miscommunicated.  He could have gotten a refund if he was that unhappy but I never heard from the guy.  I don't understand how this got so screwed up but oh well.  Again I miscommunicated and he could have gotten a refund but decided to bitch out to head-fi and get nothing done except try to make me look bad.  Sad dayz sirs, sad days.  They are headphones,  they are x10 they are unused, and they rule.  Period.  Anyone that wants to test drive them and is serious about buying them,  feel free to drop by, I live south of West Hollywood in Los Angeles.  You can inspect them, feel them (although a little shy on the first date) and even make out with them (only if you buy them).  I have nothing to hide, or steal or cheat anyone.  I have plenty of dough so its not that big of a deal to go grab something like this.  Things were rolling fat, till I got hit by a car on my Ducati doing 65mph.  Broke my back, head injury, and tore ligaments in my shoulder (AC Joint).  Its been a tough climb, but I am very lucky to be here and my outlook on life as a buddhist (doing my best, not perfect here by any means)  by believing in Good and Bad Karma.  I do my best to make people happy cause thats the experience I want.  LIke I said he could have asked for a refund, and this would not have gone like this.

well, on the bright side, at least all the people who were deceived by you haven't looked up your head-fi feedback thread and posted there about this little experience, warning off all your future buyers. so, you know, you still have that going for you.

LOL. he STILL wont admit any wrong! look you. No one wants to come and make out with your iems. No one is saying the quality was bad on the ones you sent. what we are saying is that you LIED and said they were new in box, and on top of that didnt put in accessories. That is no miscommunication. You were quoted as specifically saying they were sealed. maybe that accident has effected your brain. im sorry to hear you were hurt, but that is no excuse. All you have to say is you were wrong and dishonest. if you admit that at least you could salvage the bit of your rep that may be left.

Wow, that was a mouthful...Well, the person did not contact you but rather chose to alert this community about a possible scam, and he did the right thing. This is not a commercial trading site like eBay, there's no resolution center, no consumer protection, so on. Mutual trust is our only safeguard, once that's broken what else is left?  Comment upon comment you still fail to realize that the way you handled this goes far beyond any misunderstanding.

And regarding the very good deal: The IEM's may perform well and you may believe they were new, but a factory RMA return is not guaranteed to be new, they send you an item that was inspected and fully functional but it can be refurbished. Also, a new package contains not only the carrying case, but also five pair of gels. With $10 each plus carrying case, it will add up if the person has to buy it from Klipsch, so where is the spectacular deal? If I purchased your item based on what you advertised and received what these gentlemen did, I would have leave a negative feedback on you not only "bitching" about it here!

Can't win here so I give up trying to explain,  Didn't think about the company not sending them out new,  I always thought thats what big companies do, since the turnover was so fast.  I doubt they repair the same headphones.  So in essence I doubt that they would send you anything sub par.  But tested to perform as they should when they were purchased.  Thats a scary thought.  But hey thanks for the light.  Anyway.  What price would you sell them for?  The used ones on Ebay have exceed 165 cause you pay for shipping.  And those have been used by the seller.  I literally have not used them, EVER.  So I was not lying,  I just saw differently.   Its a different point of view, which is morally fine with me.  I didn't see it worded with malice or deception in play.  I was wrong and not wording it right.  I messed up.  Sorry.  It happens,  people make mistakes everyday.  I think some of you here are being a bit mean and not understanding.  But hey the tables turn on people that are this way.  It will happen to you some day.  Cause there is always someone out there that you won't be able to please no matter how you try.

Ok, so I give up.  This thread is now absolutely pointless.  This guy is a real character continually insisting that he's the one that has been wronged and clearly neither I nor the others he scammed are going to get anything back from his 'miscommunication'.

I hope that it's evident from his original misleading post selling the headphones and then from his complete inability to recognize what he did that people should be weary of dealing with Lordofvolume in the future.

LordofVolume, I think there is very little room for confusion in the language you chose to use to describe these headphones.  Mine were neither sealed, nor in any original packaging.  If they were refurbished, that's FAR from being brand new and sealed.

I'm sorry, I find the way that you're defending yourself here only detracts any credibility you may have had.  You can't sell something as brand new, and then when it's not, call us stupid for not appreciating a 'great deal'.  How do I know these are new, or even original Klipsch headphones if they come in an opened ziploc bag?  A 'great deal' would have been you selling me what you actually advertised.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and take these headphones back from me?  Paypal me and I'll gladly send them back.  Otherwise, I suggest that you get off this forum because in the years that I've been a member of this community I've grown to trust users who give honest descriptions of their equipment and be intelligent enough to discern between brand new sealed in a box and a little ziploc bag missing all accessories such as bag, adapter, etc.  Go back to eBay if you need to scam people to make a quick buck.

I'm sorry, but how can I request that this user be blacklisted?  How many users did he cheat with his 'one pair of brand new X10s'?   Can someone please second this request?

Tomek

I usually try not to get involved in other people dealings, but recently I have been suffering from guys in Amazon that sell promotional media (CDs and DVD with punches and damages on the barcodes) as brand new, and in the first place in order to punch a barcode you have to open the media, remove the artwork from the case, and punch it, so it is not a brand new item anymore...on top that I do not want it like that...and I'm fighting the same battle there, the hard way for them, and make them pay for shipping back, and all expenses involved, and posting negative feedback as well. You have to educate people sometimes, otherwise they will keep on getting away and cheating all their life, believing that they are doing the right thing in the best cases, and in the worst believing that they are smarter than us...

Honestly in your shoes I would file a claim with Paypal, and get my money back, regardless if I like them or not, you may find similar deals from honest headfiers, as that is, in my opinion, an scam...and just as a lesson, I would make him take them back, and shut the f...k up!!!!
