I just received my pair of x10s from Lord of Volume and unfortunately I cannot recommend purchasing a pair from this seller.
He states in this thread in response to someone asking 'new as in with original packaging' that 'yes, they are sealed from Klipsch' but what I recieved was a pair of headphones in a ziploc bag with no carrying case, adapter, or the other accessories that these headphones should come with.
Maybe they are 'like new' or in 'great condition', but it's a stretch bordering on a lie to call these 'new headphones'.

Uh dude thats cause they were not, as for adapter you got that, no cases yes, but they are x10's and the real deal. If you do not like them then say so, but its not because of me, I didn't make them, Klipsch does, maybe you don't like the sound of them. Not all headphones sound the same. I never put a "ziploc bag, thats not how Klipsch sent them to me. You got them the exact way they were sent to me. Other accessories that they should have come with? like what? the case? you got all the different sizes of earpieces, flanges etc.., cleaning tool. I put an adapter in there, and the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter. What where you expecting in that box for half the price you would have paid for "brand new". I couldn't fit Carmen Electra in there. Sorry dude. If you where that unhappy then you could have sent them back or let me know that you were "missing" things. I am not bordering on any lies. they are what they are and nothing else. X10's at a cheap prices for those who are old enough to understand that if they are used but in like new condition, than that means exactly that. Not something you have made up in your mind. Be real dude. I am giving a great deal. Just cause you don't like them cause they were not in a Brand new box is really retarded and unfair to me that you couldn't talk to me directly about your concerns, I would have been more than happy to work with you. At this point you are using slander which is not legal. So you need to check yourself before you start deeming me on a "borderling lie" thats pure BS.
Moderater please....

Wait - new or not? If you're opening and putting items in there, they're not new..

Actually, it's not slander because he was telling the truth. You said brand new packaged from Klipsch but then you also said you put stuff in it. You can't say "brand new" and "used but in new condition" to describe the same product.
I understand how tomek feels because this happened to me also before.
BTW, for written defamation, it's called libel and not slander.

They are 165 bucks and you want boxes? Uh hello? so I worded it wrong. Sorry, Um for 165 you are not gonna get new, and these are that in a sense, because I got them back from a warranty and they sent out a new pair. Thats what you get a new pair from Klipsch, they are not sub par and they are in perfect brand new condition. So take it for what its worth, so dude will score what I have described which is a damn good deal and thats all I can say about it. Mistake on my part and I apologize to anyone I might have offended. Its a good deal. If you want pics I can email them to you, just pm the email address. Good lord I didn't know it could get so pissy over boxes and words. Oh well. One pair left. More than welcome to check them in person in Berkeley, I will be in Los Angeles after September 1st.
Werd....
Fair enough. Guys lets give him a breather
. He was not trying to scam anyone, it was just a wrong choice of words, which otherwise could have been ignored also IMHO.
I mean for 165 bucks does a fully working set will not do, which otherwise retails for more than 200.

Thank you System Sir. I mis used the words, my fault. I have bought and sold on here for the past 4-5 years, including the grado 80, 225, Alesandro ms2i, Gilmore lite amp, Cmoy amp in a tin. This was the best experience for sure the x10s just kick ass, even with just an ipod or iphone. I got the x10i cause I wanted them for commuting around the Bay Area. They sound the same to me as the x10, so I put them up for sale. These x10s that i have right now are not used but were a replacement pair for a warranty issue with rubber piece what stuck out and was not normal. They swapped the set but in the process of waiting several weeks, I bought the x10i.
Thats pretty much it. So you do get a great, solid, "like new" pair of x10s, I have never worn them, all pieces are there and in tact never used at all, meaning the ear pieces or the headset itself. Boy man, when someone screws up some wording its like a Salem witch hunt around here, and I thought just the temptation from buy headphones was bad. jeeeeezzzzzz

I would be upset as well. If something is worded as new, and sealed, I would then expect it to be that way-regardless of whether it's a good deal or not. I can understand how the seller messed up the wording, but I personally would not feel happy, especially since you can pick up a true factory sealed pair for $199. Just my 2 cents.

I had two pairs. pretty simple. I don't like to wait for stuff and have a bad habit of just buying on the fly, hence the x10i. I bought one pair, a part of the cable was not fastened right so after 5 weeks they sent a replacement. In the meantime after 2 weeks, I just went ahead and got another pair. I got those and the right side (or left can't really remember) of the new ones had a small tear happening in the "cable boot". So I sent those back, now 3 weeks go buy and in the Apple store a nice set of x10i. I liked it cause I could talk on the phone with them. Works great for the BART here in the bay area. So thats the story.
I don't understand why it's so hard to understand. And if there is any issue with them other than them not having cases, which is totally retarded, its like you buy a set of headphones for its case. Jesus man, be happy you got them for a good price. Trying paying 300 and then bitch.
