FS: Bottlehead S.E.X tube amp - SOLD

Well, long story short, my dear wife questioned the objects of my relatively expensive hobby and sadly, and I don't have my own lockable sound room to enjoy them in, but a pseudo office/play room:

"What is that?"

"A tube headphone amp."

"It it dangerous?"

"Well.....................................................................................................................it can be."

"What do you mean, it can be?"

"Well......................................technically yes."

"Do you realize our boys can touch that thing...........?"

"Fine, I'll sell the damn thing."

There you have it.  My shortened saga that ended in defeat.

It comes a pair of  RCA 6DN7 tubes,stock/generic power cable, and an upgraded power cable (12 gauge all copper IEC plugs - payed $25), and a pair of 2ft long 20ga vampire wire cryo'ed with copper shield RCA IC's made by fellow headfier momomo6789.   The base is stained dark walnut.  It is the best sounding tube amp I've owned thus far.  Also comes with instructions manual and build guide on CD.

$OLD shipped CONUS and Insured.  Kit retails for $469 + $295 for build service.

Also selling my Grado HF1 and will take $20 the combined price if both are purchased.

More detail can be found at Bottlehead web site:  http://www.bottlehead.com/store.php?crn=44&rn=433&action=show_detail

No.  It was already built by the first owner using the stock parts in the $469 kit only.  Posting pictures shortly.

Bump.  Added picture of new "Bottlehead" metal logo stamp that I just stuck on the amp.  Metal logo cost $8 directly from Bottlehead.   Looks cool.

If I hadn't already ordered Crack, I'd be considering this one very closely.

Best of luck.
