grado Headphone Extension Cable

just wondering if there's a cheaper alternative yet same quality to the grado extension cable? 

 

i'm in the toronto area, and most audio shops here sell it for $40, and they won't budge with my haggling skills.

 

i see some no name brand extensions for around the $15 range, are those things crap and will it make my headphones sound like crap too, or are those things good enough?

 

bring on the suggestions playaz.

I use a Mogami Gold  10' ext cable. I paid a little more than $40 as in the link but I don't see the need for anything more expensive.

 

You or I may not be able to hear a difference between the cheapo and this but the cheap cable will fail much sooner...been there...

There are a few sweet alternatives out on eBay.  They give you a nice selection of length in 5ft increments and many offer custom colors, all at very reasonable prices for quality cable and connectors.

 

I just ordered a Canare/Neutrik 15' length in red for $45 shipped.
