You know a stranded wire would be vastly more comfortable?

Usind solid core wire for headphones seems rather silly, but other than that it looks pretty neat.

Might want to look over the heatshrinks again, though.

The heat shrink is temporary. Just holding the epoxy I used in place. Once set, I will use longer and nicer pieces of heat shrink.

I prefer the sound of solid core, over stranded every time ... but thanks.

where do you buy the splitters? I only know a few and they're huge, meant for speaker cables.

I could use cable pants but they are just that..doesn't really add to the feel of the cables.

I made it at my kitchen table, with a drill, hole saw, and a dremel tool.

Ah, I see.

So vanity over comfort then?

LOL .... Don't you know ?   Vanity sounds better.

I'm not quite sure what the issue is in your mind about solid core being uncomfortable. This is only 24 ga, and is not nearly as stiff or uncomfortable as you must be imagining. It wouldn't work well for portable use, but for sitting here in my recliner it is just fine.
