Just bought Focal XS yesterday, listening to music via USB from laptop is perfect. Sound is amazing. No noise or interference at all. However, after that I tested it to watch movies (DVD, .avi , .mkv format and three programs used). Here comes the problem. There's a noise sound ( sound like something sparkle, the same sound when you turn it off) from both speaker but right speaker's noise is louder. I switch the USB cable but that doesn't help. So I try something, I use mini jack connect from headphone out to aux in of Focal XS. The sparkling sound gone. I tried connect iPhone3gs to focal dock and play movies, no sparkling sound also.
Is this Focal XS defected? I suspect that it's about its DAC section because the problem's gone when connect with 3.5 mini jack but why listening to music via USB gets no problem?
