Hello guys, Im confuse buying t51 or Sony x series, so to make my decision which should I buy, I got a couple of question,

here it is:

What is slacker...?
Does sony X series support a MicroSDHC or SDHC card or Memory Stick pro duo or M2..?
What do you meant by iTunes use on Sony X Series..? Can we do that..?
What do you meant by Sony Content Transfer..? What is that..?
What do you meant by XNJB..? What is that..? What is the function..?

Please answer

-Slacker is some kind of radio feature. You can only listen to the songs limitedly but if you have wi-fi the songs will refresh itself (if registered it). http://www.slacker.com/

-no card support at all

- i don't use itunes, so i don't know

- Sony X series uses MTP transfer method (slightly different from the usual usb devices) and you can use the Sony Content transfer program to drop your music files in your player

- I have no idea what XNJB, i think it's related to the Mac OS.

You can drag and drop from iTunes straight into the X's window (if using Windows, no idea what the deal is with Mac)

No idea about XNJB either... sorry

- Slacker doesn't work if you don't live in the US. It's a radio streaming program. I never wanted to use it anyway.

- No microsd support

- It can connect through MTP but also function as a standard usb drive. I never use MTP. Just drag and drop. Easy as pie.

I bought the X1050 over the T51. I tried the T51 and in my opinion it feels like a beta device. I want my portable listening experience to be as smooth as possible. Sound quality is slightly warmer and more forgiving on the X.

The only thing with Itunes is you need to make sure that all your songs are either newer or they have been converted to a DRM free format.

If you are using Itunes music from a couple of years ago, you will have to copy them to disc and put them back on your computer in MP3 format.  Or pay .30 per song to upgrade.
