Which is the better one???

Hey, all guys, long time no see, recently, i am busy in decorating my living room, now i want to buy a new and big TV for our living room, do you have a good choice?

I like Samsung brand, but my wife like LG, we searched them online, the first choice is Samsung LN55C650 55" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV ,it has a clear imge quailty, and looks great and comfortable.

The second is LG 50PJ350 50" 720p Plasma HDTV .Which one is better? Hope you can give us some advice.

As for my opinion, I would go with the Samsung because of its higher resolution. As your screen size increases, the importance of resolution does as well. Also, from what I understand plasma televisions (and other phosphor based TVs) are more likely to get image burn in, whereas LCD is nearly immune with typical use.
