It's the BEST possible mod that can still use original srm-001 enclosure
OPAMP: AD825.
Input Cap: Blackgate 220uf NX
Bypass input cap: 0.12uf BC MKP
Output caps: Auricap
Power Supply caps: Boutique United-Chemicon SMG 220uf/16v, BlackGates PK series 47uf/16v.....
Battery suply is modded to accept unprotected 3.7v lithium ( you can't use the protected one for babystax )
why its PLUSS? :
Surface mount electrolytic caps, that are not changed in the Fat Cat mods, but they were changed:
They are
C11, C12 22uf, 6V Panasonic
C25 10uf, 16V Panasonic
In the Fat Cat mod, C6 is 3-4 0.1uf, 630V caps paralleled together
What will you get:
-modded srm-001, light scratch but nothing dramatic.
- Sr-001, with ue's biflage tips ( i love it.. so comfortable ), 1 set Original tips, 1 headband.
- 2 sets UltraFire Rechargeable unprotected 3.7v lithium Battery , Each set gives you 4 hours so 2 sets can give you 8 hours of eargasm.
- lithium battery charger.
- sony 4.5v adapter so you can use it desktop mod, I still prefer the batteries though.
How are they sound?
Their mid and low is to die for, the detail and soundstage put a shame of many highend full size headphone
