Industria Argentina CDs?

Thread Starter

I order a lot of CDs from the Amazon Marketplace, usually from ImportCDs or MovieMars. Recently with some MovieMars orders, I've been getting what seem like imported copies of albums, labeled "INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA" on the back cover and CD, with an IFPL sticker on the front. What's the deal with these? Are they just imported copies or straight up knockoffs?

So far I've received IA copies of Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, Velvet Underground & Nico, and Give Me The Night by George Benson. The VU album was very poorly printed with ink splotches all over the inserts, so I ordered an American copy, and they both sounded fine. But I've noticed the Rumours and George Benson CDs are very, very quiet; not necessarily bad quality, but so quiet that I have to crank my speakers to hear it properly. Mind you these are 1990 pressings, but they seem too quiet.

Any help would be grand.. thanks.

No idea what those are but I stopped ordering from Movie Mars when I started getting what looked like used CDs (imports and domestics) that were supposed to be new.  Same problem with Caimen.  Import CDs, Newbury Comics, blowitoutahere and a few others have not disappointed and I have bought dozens and dozens of CDs from them..
