The stage debut of Shimon, the robotic marimba player. Also, the world first human-robot rendition of Duke Jordan's "Jordu", for human piano and robot marimba.

The robot listens to the human play and tries to match its beat, sync, and themes. It uses choreographic gestures to generate both motion and sound.

The Poll's title was suppose to be " Is this awesome? ". There was a typo.

With some work, they could develop a robot jazz band. That'd be really awesome. This is still awesome, but it's only like a 7 on a scale of 10.

That would be awesome... A few decades from now we're going to get Robot Metallica suing every music download site.

Very impressive. When Skynet comes, at least they'll have a little robotic orchestra playing background music.
