Like the title states - which I would have preferred to call an 'interest check' but know I cannot edit the title to WTB later - I am interested in doing a straight-up trade of a dashing, great-condition pair of Denon 'MD5000's' for a pair of Grado HF-2's. The Denons are in very good condition, with no scratching on the mahogany cups or logo to be seen. They were purchased from TheBigSleep this February and are in perfect working condition. They have been 'markl' modded in expert fashion - I carefully opened them up to inspect - using Dynamat by Cardude, who was the original owner, and sound amazing. I just simply want to try out some open cans for a change, but cannot afford both. Feel free to PM me if you are interested. I would very much prefer the HF-2's to be in 'perfect' aesthetic shape, with the screens symmetrical (as "X's"), but perhaps I am being a bit too fussy!
