Hi, i'm interested in recabling a pair of headphones for the first time. My victim will be a pair of eh 150's i got a few years back. i'm currently in the process of ordering things and i have few questions. I'm currently ordering the following:

 

Mogami 2534 Neglex

Neutrik NYS231BG 3.5 Stereo Mini plug

Cardas Solder

 

I also want to get some PET sleeves, will 3/8" be sufficient for the mogami cable? Also, shrink tube wise, i'm not quite sure of the diameter I need. planning to have the cable break off to the left and right channels, and i want to shrink tube the left and ground together and the right and ground together, as well as the "Y" break off point. what can I use for these areas?

 

thinking of also making a iPod LOD, but i haven't been able to find a place that sells them. Can someone point me in the direction??
