IC : AKG K242 sextett (I guess)

Hi,

 

I have a pair of AKG K242 which is I think Sextett considered a little reading in the K240 thread and the pictures below.

It is just an interest check, as I am not really into selling those, but if I have offers, whatever...

Did you buy it new? If not, I'm guessing that it was a Sextett transplant into a 242 frame.

No, I did not get it new. But apparently, after reading the AKG K240 thread, it seems that the K242 are made from the K240 MP sextett, and are still sextett, but these were sold in Europe. But still, I cannot tell between every K242 (if there are many... I only know of the K242HD and this one), except the white ones are only HDs (if I am right).

Yes, those do look like LP sextett radiators. MP has an orange tinge on the outer edge of the circle, and EP is pure orange.
