SOLD! - CAL!, ES7, HFI-780, Q40, SR-60, XB500

All prices include shipping to CONUS only.  I have never shipped international, and really would rather not go through any more hassle than absolutely required.  I will only accept paypal.  All accessories shown with the phones in the pictures will be included.  Feel free to PM me if anything is confusing.

Since I see it asked a lot, I do have children.  I also have a cat and dog who sometimes manage to get inside the house for the amount of time it takes me to notice them, and toss them back out.  I do not smoke.  I don’t think any of this really matters because I only used these headphones at work, which is a clean “cube farm” environment, and who knows what kind of environment they were kept in before I got them.  They are being stored in my office at home now though, which my kids have no access to.

CAL! - $50 40 35 (final price drop) SOLD!

Where I got them:  http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/458287/fs-creative-aurvana-live-denon-1000-oem-sold

They appeared well used when I got them.  They got an additional <50hrs listening time while I have owned them.  As can be seen in the pics, they are not in anyway “mint”.  They are well used, but still 100% functional.

ES7 - $50 SOLD!

Where I got them:  http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/476400/sold-audio-technica-ath-es7

Used for a month or so every day at work.  Bent the headband adjustment bars very slightly (as mentioned in these forums) to improve the comfort.  NOTE:  These are refurbs from J&R from 9/09.

HFI-780 - $160 150 SOLD!

Where I got them:  http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/483300/sold-hfi-780-mint-160-3rd-price-drop-shipped-conus-only

These are the short cord version, an eight foot extension is included.  They come with the pleather ear pads only.  The previous owner kept the velours.  Less than 25hrs on them.  I took them out of their box at work, listened to them for a little while, put them back in their box, brought them home and took them out to photograph them, and then put them back.

Q40 - $75 65 SOLD!

These appeared very well used when I got them.  I used for about 20hrs.  As mentioned in the original thread, some of the wording on the headband is worn off.  There is also some slight damage to the pleather on the earpads.  I tried to get the worst spot in pic 3.  I want to say that there are two other spots that are similar, but not as progressed.  I could not notice it when I had them on.

SR-60 - $50 40 SOLD!

Pics:  http://assets.head-fi.org/f/fa/fab85dd8_SR60.jpg

Where I got them:  http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/462032/fs-audeo-pfe-112-nib-grado-sr-60-lightly-used

I was told that they had about 50hrs on them when I bought them in 12/09.  I used them every day for months.  Come with original comfies, which are quite faded (and were when I got them), and the “quarter modded” HD414 pads that I used with them.  NOTE:  These are not the “I” version.  There were my first decent set of headphones, and I used them a lot to “wow” coworkers and my wife.  I have no need of these since I now have the MS2i’s.

XB500 - $40 30 SOLD!

Where I got them:  http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/486859/fs-ft-sony-xb-500

Bought these on a whim with less than 20hrs on them.  They now have less than 25hrs on them.

Are the Q40s excessively heavy, i wanna use them for portable and a bit of home audio, but mainly portable and just wondering about there isolation (I'm not too picky) and sound leakage - i hate being annoying to others lol. And do they have a <3m cable?

You should read up on the Q40s.  They are big, and I wouldn't use them as portables.  I don't think they are super heavy, but they are not what I would consider light like the SR60s.  And the cable is like 10' (~3m), and there's no way I want something that long for portable use.  It's been a while since I listened to them, but I would say the isolation is average and the leakage was minimal.

Of the phones I have listed, I would think the CAL! & ES7s would be the best for portable use.

I listen to rock & metal.  The HFI-780's have more bass than my MS2i's, and better highs than my M50's.  To me they are basically a more refined version of the M50.
