Can we listen 24bit 192Khz On Ipone/IpoD?

Thread Starter

i have a

(media info)  5 379Kbps, 192 Khz, 2 channel Flac

I converted with dBpowearmp Music Converter to Apple Lossless (.m4a)

(media info) 5 376Kbps,  60.9 Khz, 2 channel ALAC

But iTunes cannot copy because cannot play this file.

Is there any way to listen a 24bit 192Khz Flac to Iphone/Ipod?

Thanks In Advance

I don't think so.

I think the iPod line only plays 16 bit @ 44.1 KHz.

I believe that 24 bit is ok but only up to 48khz if I remember correctly.

even 24bit/96khz is not supported by ipod

My iPhone supports 24 bit files, but not anything with a higher sampling rate than 48kHz.I think it should be the same for all models...

no, besides you could fit what 1 album on your iphone if you could? the codec does not support the higher bitrate

No! As mentioned by others the iPods do support 24-bit, but not 192kHz. Just up to 48kHz.
