Hey guys,

 

I'm planning on using UE-18 IEMs for home listening and want to build a desktop system. I'm very intrigued by the DA11 and am strongly considering it. I would like to hook it up to my Macbook Pro. I've read somewhere both on here and on the official Lavry forums that they do not recommend using the DA11's amp to power sensitive IEMs. Would I be able to connect an amp that is more tailored for IEMs, such as the RSA Protector to the DA11 and then plug my UE18 into the Protector? If so, what interconnects and cables would you recommend, and do you see any potential problems here with listening to music at lower volume or having too small of a window to adjust volume?
