so i was looking to buy a umbilical (the one that goes between my supratek chardonnay's pre and power unit) and it turns out the only one that i can find for sale is by RAL. many of you know that this guy was banned from audiogon for scamming. he is now back to selling on Agon by the name of "audiohottie" and back to his old tricks again. i sadly know this as i did not know "audiohottie" was him (or actually his wife i believe) and bought a cable from them. it took months to get them to send it and only after a dispute was opened. the problem is i have been told that it is very hard to find the connectors used on the cable. if anyone can do this for me, please email me to discuss price. i would be looking for a cable approx. 3 ft. long. i am not looking for an $$exotic$$ cable, just something basic and put together right (i usually make my own cables or get blue jeans). my main interest in purchasing is for a custom length to tidy things up and because the stock one is very flimsy. please respond to this post if interested (i have subscribed to it so i should be notified of reponses). i am at work right now but i am 99% sure that it is the 5 pin DIN connector on the chardonnay, if any more info is needed let me know.
