yes, yes i have...its fairly impressive how many high end phones he has and how many dacs/amps he has as well.

 

on top of being excited to hear the F1J now that it has been updated since i owned it, i also cant wait to hear his M51. and also Happy Camper's Hilo. Should be an awesome time whenever we get around to pulling the mini meet together again.

Soup, I'm waiting for the Hilo to get burned in. Give it another week of run in and we'll set it up. As a digital hub, it's a fantastic piece of kit.

Right now I'm using an Emotiva USP-1 and looking to upgrade to the XSP-1. I am inclinded to say the USP is warm, but that could just be the Aleph 3. For the price I paid ($350), I think it's an excellent performer. I am only thinking about upgrading since the XSP has some XLR in/out. I have thought about just using my DAC too. I might have to give that a try....

I was wondering about the XDA-2 and it's new volume control.  What DAC are you using?
