If anyone knows of a place in NYC where I could try out the HE=6, please let me know.

They may not have audio stores there  -  But I know good and well they have lots of pretty women L3000.gif

If you come to Montreal (not too far from NY), we sell Hifiman at the store I work at. Oh, and there's a lot of good looking women up here too!

No one as far as I know, and I've followed this thread from the beginning, more or less.

I think that's the only one who has. I want to but the price is a bit much for pads but then again I have bought pads around the same price for the HD800 and I bought the O2 pads for the T50RP when I was modding them..however I do like the D7k and no real issues with them.

That's why you don't have a lcd-2, an lcd-2le, and a lcd-3. IMO the he-6 is what the he-5s should have been. Well I haven't received mine yet, so I really can't say. Time will tell. An he-6le may be in the near future.

wow. And today there is a LCD 2, 2.2 and 3.
