HE-6 looks amazing. I have only heard it from a Burson in a noisy room :( Had to put volume at max and I still couldn't hear anything! ^^

I were, but I didn't know if my amp could power it properly so I bought another set of summit-fi phones (i'm sry!!!). But I will probably get these someday since I love the looks of it and if it just sounds better than HE-500 i'm all good :)

Definitely better than HE-500 for sure. Too bad you missed the boat! Someday though... :)

Yea :) Well I couldn't tell if it sounded good or not where I tested it. All the odds were against it so I thought I would wait until I get a better chance in testing it! I heard the HE-500 before and might prefer it over HD800 senns, close place between them two atleast. And if the HE-6 sounds better than those two it might be a competitor to my LCD-3!

I think most people that have a bunch of TOTL cans to compare with prefer the HE-6 over the LCD-3, so it's a good possibility you might enjoy it more :)

For those of you interested in a speaker amp to headphones adapter box, I am offering to build the Robinette v3 box for $94 shipped in you live in continental USA since I have been getting alot of PMs about it. I need atleast 4 more people to sign up for interest to make it possible.

I got so frustrated that the demo LCD3 was already sold at the Stockholm show I bought the demo HE-6 instead. Want to trade? ;-)

Yeah hence the trade proposal ;-) Nice catch! It was a good price for the LCD3. I got 20% off for the HE6 though, which was just unpacked for the show so I'm happy.

I agree with you that for enjoyment and relaxed listening the HE-500 can trump the Senns...really glorious, involved midrange.  HE-6 take things to another level, they're more transparant and neutral than the 500 by a very audible margin (no reproach to the 500, it's been deliberately voiced warmer and at the price you'll be hard pressed to find anything better).  Just an overall better experience.  If I could only keep one headphone it'd be the HE-6 for me.  Never heard the LCD-3 but from what I've read about them and given my liking for classical music I doubt they'd be for me.
