I was thinking of having Sezai build me a headphone cable to match the ICs to hardwire the 6s.

Sounds like a plan. He is such a nice person and is very good with communication as well, you could do a lot worse than one of his cables. beerchug.gif

If it brings to the headphone performance what it brings as an IC, it'd be worth the investment.

YES. This is what Wireworld did for me, took their latest IC and made a custom HE-6 headphone cable for me. I love my slithering IC.

Correct, I mean as far as technicalities go not close as in sound signatures.  As ALRAINBOW said two different headphones with two different sound signatures.

What do u guys think of the idea of using DHC OCC cable to hardwire the HE-6? The right connector issue is getting on my nerves...

Here is my view. Others may be different as the choice is yours. Do not bother to hardwire And loose warrantee .

Have someone make what you want. Or make your own with the extra set of connectors they give you.

If you want a good set cheap by a pro Ted Allen set headphone lounge can make them. As many here do hard wire I do not see the gain in this. The is nothing to gain by elec inpatient the connector. Just increase the overall gauge of the wire
This is where your gain comes in. Just my opinion .

Speaking from first hand experience HFMs customer service is great to deal with.

My right driver went out about a year ago, they were hardwired at the time.  HFM replace the driver and also re soldered my cable to the new drive.  I paid $100 for the service.  It was well worth it.  Warranty or not they still will fix your headphone at a very reasonable cost.  They will not leave you out in the cold.

Now that is good to know
Thanks

Happy Camper and I did a side by side compassion with his stock HE-6, I had my hardwired HE-6.  I can tell you this and he can to - there was a very noticeable difference.  My pair had more time on them than his - however, His pair sound raw, louder, and brighter..  My pair sound more refined and tamed.  The cable I have hardwired is the Norse Reign 24.
