Despite putting up with their annoyance, I'm quietly looking to get the cans hardwired.... locally. Maybe I should practice developing my own DIY skills on them. Get good. And then offer my services to those in SoCal.

Be careful! The cries of those discarded SMC connectors might haunt you in your sleep  (Why get rid of me masterrrrrrrrrrr!)

I need to worry about that ol' German expression... "Throwin' the baby out with the bath water."

Artist: moonsorrow

Album: Verisakeet

Genre: folk/black metal

If you aren't into metal try the last song on the album, its just an instrumental/folk chanting. If you are into metal, get ready for one of the most epic albums ever. The album plays out like a movie, best to listen to all 70 minutes in one sitting.

Yea,  2 a.m. in the morning, a big kettle of tea and hitting the play button on Verisakeet

I think Moonsorrow is really easy to get into, even for non-metalhead. Their music just flows effortlessly (well except that last album)

It's quite good compared to the rest of black metals - hope you will like the cookie monster vocal ;).

I'm definitely a Moonsorrow fan boy, they are my favorite band of all time. However, I don't think the album is that well recorded.. its just average. But so epic that I listen to it over and over. Definitely a masterpiece but may take some time to let it soak in because its very dense.

I know what you mean.. I mean I enjoyed the last album but it doesn't get nearly as much natural play time as the other ones. Verisakeet is probably my overall favorite album from them.

And I thought Iron Butterfly was the first metal band.......

You no I have that horrible album. One stupid song
That lives on forever. Did you know that song was an accident
It was recorded as is. The group never made anything worth while
Besides that. As for them being first not in my book
But I give you a mode for naming them.
And thee was Hendrix , sabbath , robin trower ,
And others I cannot junk if. To me iron butterfly is like saying
Right said Fred was a milestone in diso.

Lol. Good one though. Your showing your age man

If you caught the name in the selection, you win. They sucked but I was going with Iron and metal. Yes, 57 is showing my age.
