Just how loud does this happen ? At times I do listen loud enough to make my ears ring a little later, not like when I went clubbing though .

People listen to there headphones loud with it around there neck, I believe there's a term for it, like the DJs.

My drivers may well be at risk. I listen at moderate levels most of the time. But also engage in high-speed passes with passages... moving air.

Ok I understand , may I suggest some near fields lol. Then most likely this will not happen to me. However when I take them off my head at times to get the phone , I am amazed how loud they are playing though.

Hifiman has an excellent support team, one of my drivers had a slight buzz at certain frequencies which they (Hifiman) replaced hastily after providing the receipt. This bypasses the retailer which saves time it takes to get it sent back.

Imo the HE6 leaks enough so that you don't have to turn up the volume that much louder when you have them around your neck, I tend to use mine this way after extended gaming sessions where headphones even as comfortable as the HE6 can get slightly hot and irritating.

Really enjoying the JOB amp powering my HE6 with the M51 as pre. Taking HE6 to new heights!

Tonight, the listening room is dark, no reservations. But all the HE-6 chat has me scrambling to change my itinerary.

What kind of love are the 900s seeing these days? I'm still very curious about these cans. Wish the cups had an alternate finish - maybe the 600's Black with a semi gloss finish. AND without the silly "Look at me!" logo on the side.

I don't mind paying good money for things, but I also wanna have a say in the matter without boycotting altogether.

i unfortunately haven't used them a whole lot at home. i use them mainly at work. i like the finish, wish they had a different cable though, its better than the old denon ones, but still isn't perfect, gotta be careful not to turn, twist, or flip the headphones to avoid any tangling or twisting in the cable.

Wow , there is plenty of people talking about that amp and some others related to it as well. I do not have that one and cannot comment on it.

Someone here actually made that personal recommendation, I trust his ears and knowledge entirely. I believe 'transparency' is likely the best word for it.
