Beyerdynamic DT 880 (250 Ohm)

I am selling a lightly used pair of DT 880's. This is the 250 Ohm version.

 

These headphones were used for less than 10 hours. They are in perfect condition except for two hairline scratches on one side. The scratches are not deep or obvious, but they are there. I have attached a close up picture to show what they look like. The pads on these are a velvet like material. Because of the sheen, some of the pictures make them look dirty. They are not - they are perfectly clean. Included is the original packaging and paperwork. The outer box is a little scuffed, but the inner box is perfect. I am the original owner. They come from a smoke free home.

I made a mistake about the condition of the outer box. It is slightly scuffed on the corners but is actually in good shape. It is the HD650 box that shows some wear.

When did you buy those? They don't look like the newer 2005 model. Yours have flat sides/grilles and the newer ones have convex ones. Are they the 2003 version or what? Thanks

It has been quite some time. I would guess 5 years or so.

 

For a while I was really in to collecting headphones. The DT 880 was the last pair I bought. They were purhcased around the time I upgraded my sound system with new speakers and a great CD/SCAD/DVD-Audio player, so they didn't get much use. They are in perfect condition except for the surface scratches on one side.
