IC: Melos Sha Gold Reference

This is a Melos Gold that went to MAR and received the refernce treatment. About three years ago it stopped working and sat at a friends house until another forum member found the problem and fixed it. While they were in there the volume pot was replaced with dual 24 step mono steppers.  There is a mild hum with AT 2000s but grados sound very good. High impedance cans like Senns or AKG have no issue as well.

 

This version was built in the Melos pre amp chassis as were some of the SHA Golds at the end of run for Melos.

 

I'm looking at around &700 for it plus shipping. I can post pics later in the week if there is interest.
