lol, @ the OP did you try that m9 with duck tapes on? MAYBE it might sound good LOL. i wonder how much duck tapes you have to wrap over the nozzle to get a good seal...

maybe he treid "duck" tape and found it wasn't all it was quacked up to be

true story, i once saw a kid wearing skullcandy inkd earphones without the rubber tips on them.  i saw him take one out of his ears and it didn't have the little black earplug on it.

Well thats how i was using my earbud. I tested it with the sponge, doesnt sound good.

then i tried with the silicon tip, still doesnt sound good.

without any tips gives me the best sound. but yes, it has no isolation and not comfortable.

The silicone idea is great: permanent customs or built-in IEMs :D :D :D

I actually followed the suggestion and tried my Playaz TD100 like that.

 

What a crappy idea that was. At least the mids still sounded okay.
