I feel they will be sold out very shortly and we will never get them again, much like the iBasso D4.

Only USB chips, no need to worry if you use coaxial input.

A HiFace or similar converter will solve this. He will find another solution soon I'm sure.

Or he could ditch the USB input all together. There are too many USB-SPDIF converter in market. The USB converter market is also still maturing.

I wouldn't want to pay the extra on the converter.

This is actually GREAT NEWS!

 

Maybe now Audio GD will finally fit their DAC's with real asynchronous USB implementations.  Since the Ti TUSB3200 Wavelength Audio solution will likely cost a lot for licensing, I say they should use the Cypress USB chip with Xilinx programmable chip like Musiland and HiFace
