HiFiMan with Protector with JH13 or 16? Overkill? - Page 3

High-Q,

are you asking because you are considering buying the Hifiman? seriously, I have read some of the posts in the hifiamn thread in sound forum, and seems like most of what you are asking for (scientific explanation rather than opinions) have already been answered.  seems like you do not think the hifiman is worth it (I don't have one and have not heard it) so you just want to put it down by starting new threads. It's pretty obvious you don't think it is portable due to size (and maybe other criteria such as UI, battery etc) or by its sound quality. So what is the point of this thread??

the same people who are bashing the unit for its sound seems to be now here in this thread doing the same thing. sorry but it just feels like it's another angle of attacking the unit and putting it in the portable forum rather than keep the discussion in science forum which many of hifiman haters were complaining about censorship.

Again what is the purpose of this thread?

To justify the fact that he doesn't own one.

well I can understand if he doesn't think it's worth the price or think its not portable enough or the sound isn't that great etc...

it's just that I don't see why they have the need to talk about it on and on. it's like they are trying to make everyone agree with them and if not they will continuously question those who think otherwise.

I'm not saying these because of what is said here but the hifiman thread in science forum. its been debated back and forth there already. no need to create another thread.

Please read my original post.  I do not see where you are getting that idea from.  You are way off track.  You are adding unnecessary drama to this forum.  Please leave this thread if you cannot contribute in a mature manner like everyone on this thread.  This thread is not about HiFiMan or whatever your imagination is making it out to be.  I just had some technical questions on if a certain type of setup is really necessary.

indeed my bad...

I just checked the hifiman thread in science forum and though I thought I saw you posting there it was only one post, asking a reasonable question (same one as here.)

sorry for the mixup and do apologize for any offense.

guess I got annoyed with the petty bickering on the other thread.

sorry to take the thread off track.
