Grado SR125 (original version) very good clean condition

I have a pair of Grado SR125 for sale.  They are the original non-i version.  In very good condition, cosmetically and sonically.  Hardly any visible sign of use.  There may be some wrinkle on the leather headband, that's about it.

I love this headphones, but I already have the SR325 (black metal cup), so I'm selling this pair.  I don't understand why people complained about the SR125 being too bright.  I rarely find it bright.  I listened through a 12au7 tube headamp or straight from the iPod.  Rickie Lee Jones Pop Pop Track 3 is a good test.  I use L-cushion pad (with slits in the center) and some other pads interchangable depending on music and my mood.

Vocal is great (try Esther, Joan Baez, Bellafonte).  I also like the bass (Dr Dre Nutting but the G Thang).  Violin is also very sweet.

Very detail and pretty good air.  I would be lying if I said it was as good as the SR325, but it was a respectfully great headphone.

As shown in the pictures, a quarter-modded Radio Shack pads are included. $110 paypal shipped US continental
