Does anyone know if the LODs bypass the internal amp? Also, does anybody know what kind of amp is inside the fuze, and the type of DAC?

nope but it does bypass some caps which off set the DC power.

Can you explain in detail the purpose of the caps? I thought the caps filter DC signal from hitting the output. Wouldn't you want the capacitors there? Wouldn't having higher capacitor there make more sense?
To be precise, it bypass the headphone amp section, but not the line-out amp section. You still need opamp to buffer the DAC signal to line-level.
The opamp and DAC are integrated onto one SoC (System-on-Chip), which is AS3525 by Austria Micro System. If you want to know more about the SoC you can visit AMS website.
Caps are there to filter out the DC offset. As for why there is no caps on the line-out, that is because Sandisk intends to let the manufacturer of the accessories (which ultilizes the LO signal) to implement caps on the accessories.
To the OP, there is a lot of knowledge in the forum (and the web) regarding some of the question in your threads. I will suggest you do more research first before trying to get an easy answer from the forum.
ClieOS, can you explain it more simple? you audio language is too expert for me
u mean the sansa fuze is a true line out but we need to put caps to our DIY LOD Sansa Fuze?
In simple terms, yes.
