An Mac user asks: If Apple is so great, why does Safari suck so bad? - Page 2

I use both Opera, Safari and Firefox on a regular basis.

Opera is the fastest, Safari is the best integrated and Firefox has Adblock. They all win on different areas, but Safari is still my primary browser.

I'm sticking with Firefox. Works the best for me.

I can't stand Safari and Chrome.

All browsers suck. It is best to have several at the ready.

You speak pure wisdom. Having done web development and as a web browser user, there is not  a single browser that I haven't cursed. Overall the webkit based ones are the ones I like the most (or dislike less...).

you're probably using Safari without adblock and click to flash.

I don't see why it's such a big issue if Safari sucks. IE sucks, Netscape sucked, why shouldn't a Mac browser suck? No browser is perfect, I've been quite happy with Firefox for a number of years.

Just installed it and I'm still getting three copies of the Google Chrome ad on this page... Would probably seem more ironic if I wasn't pissed it didn't work.

Because some mac users are fanboys. Say anything bad about Apple and they jump down your throat.

yeah, i noticed that adblock seems to be failing these days (months).  they haven't updated in a year or so and i don't think they've made an effort to update to 64bit.

Total oposite opinion......

DIfferent preferences maybe?
What works beautifully for some/most people may "suck" to other people - like you.
