This has sold.
Well, last winter I built a Starving Student Millett Hybrid amplifier using the PCB and the custom Beezar/Hammond case (see thread). I finally got to do some serious listening and it seems that I don't like tube amps. At least not with my other equipment. Therefore, I'm selling it.
I basically used the normal configuration as most other people who built this, except:
- I used 100000Ω resistors instead of 50000Ω on R16 and R17.
- The tube sockets have gold plated contacts instead of bare ones.
- I used OCZ Freeze thermal compound under the heatsinks.
- Although the tube sockets are cleared in the center and there are white LED's on the PCB, they aren't wired and stuck through the tube sockets. You can see them shining though the headphone socket when you turn on the amplifier. If you like white LED's you can take them out and thread them through the holes.
I will include two matched 19J6 tubes, a power supply, and leftover parts from construction.
Price = $130 + shipping. I like PayPal.
