I keep mine in the sweet spot between 85 and 90 and don't fret about it. Life's too short and music too amazing.

I probably will do the same, if I have it at 100%, I don't have much play on the pot with my WA22 and beta22.

Bah! Give up on it already! Can you try a CD transport as source instead of your mac?

Using that output would allow me to listen at closer to 100 on the PWD, but people seem to agree that the LF's higher gain output sounds better, even for relatively low impedance Audezes.  Do you have an opinion on that?

Also, not sure how setting the PWD at 100 bypasses the PWD's volume control?  It just seems to set it at the maximum output.

No. I don;'t have enough expreince with the LF to really have an opinion on that regard.

I was looking for the PS Audio forum thread that mentions about bypassing, but I can't find it yet.

After I upgraded to MKII, I learned how to change slow blow fuses. Would switching to Furutech slow blow fuses be recommended? Does the slow blow fuses affect sound?

Doesn't the mk2 kit already come with "Audiophile" fuses?

Yes,

It's part of the upgrade.

I hate to be the one saying it but these are the Critical Link fuses and there have been improvements in fuses since these came out.  The Furutech are one but the new Supreme are at the top right now.

I have the Furutech in my PWD and the Critical link in my PWT or maybe it is reversed.

I use the hifi tuning supreme fuses on my PWD and they made a nice difference in my dac before I had upgraded to Mk. II.  Never installed the critical link fuses so can't comment on how good those are...probably better than the stock one though

It is very easy t install and will take you no more than 30 minutes...

Look for the instructional videos in youtube (the ones from an independent person no PSAudio) they are two of them (part 1 and part 2) by the same guy. They are very helpful.

X2.  Took me around 15 minutes to install mines and you will heard the improvement on the USB right away without any burn in.  Enjoy, it is one of the best buy in my audio life.
