I have 3 JBL HLS810 speakers, with two more on their way. I was wondering what a good subwoofer would be to pair with it.
Price range: I can go up to 250 or 300, but I would prefer it to stay around 200.

What will be the main use of your setup, music or HT? Also how big is your room? Good subwoofers can be expensive. A cheap sub could very well worsen your setup instead of improving it.
For music, I love subwoofers from Energy.
Btw, I had the JBL HLS-610 bookshelf speakers. Awesome speakers! Regretted selling those.
I've been looking at the price range myself and from what I can tell, under 300 bucks the HSU STF-1 is the most recommended sub especially if you listen to any music at all.
I've so far not seen any consistent recommendations for any of the other sub 300$ offerings. Some say the Polk PSW111 is decent, but others insist its no good. The Dayton 10 inch subs have a consistent following but outside of the dayton fanbase, they dont seem to get very many recommendations.
I myself might just save some dough and go the Dayton route till I move out of the apartment, cos the sub is gonna be running really really low levels in my apartment.
