Power Cable Voltage Question.

hello fellas

 

I have very little knowlege about electro currents.. so here I go.

I have recently moved to Korea where the voltage is 220V.

I was wondering if it is okay to use power cord that I bought from the States (Iron Lung Jellyfish) in here since the voltage in the States was 110V.

I don't see a problem..

Its 14 AWG, most standard aftermarket IEC uses 14.

Although gauge is an important factor it is the cable insulation that governs its safe voltage.
