The last time I bought a CD was about a month ago. Don't have a job right now so I can't afford to buy as much as I want.

I dunno why, but when i buy cds i like to wander around and browse, so i do almost all my cd shopping at best buy, and i usually buy somewhere around 4-5 a month if not a bit more. i actually just went and picked up the new Bullet for my Valentine cd, and i got Beach house's new cd Teen Dream as well, from recs on here.

 

but its weird because i do almost all my blu ray shopping online at amazon, dont care to wander around looking at those.

I buy one or two CD's a week. I like to rip them myself. I still want to own the physical package. I'll probably end up going back to vinyl eventually...

Most of my recent stuff I've bought was stuff from Japan, so I tend to buy a bunch at a time (like two or three times a year), then buy maybe a CD or two every once in a while.  I just happened to have bought 10 or so CDs that arrived Monday when I saw this poll.

Thats funny. Last week, I just purchased 2. And the total price? $5. If I bought them as downloadables on amazon or Itunes, it would have been $20. Not only are used CDs cheaper, but you get physical media, better sound quality, and the joy of having a cd collection.

I usually buy 1+ CDs a week. If there is a new album out I want, I usually go snag it from Best Buy, if there is nothing out, if I have extra money or if the CD I bought was a cheap 8 dollar one I always go hit up the used record shop(Disc Go Round) in the same plaza as BestBuy, I have bought an embarrassingly large amount of CDs this year.

I ordered 145 EUR worth of cds today :(

 

I don't have a regular average or anything but so far this year I've purchased/ordered ~100 cds :/
