Hi,

OK, we all agree that moshelict1 on eBay clearly sells fake copies of the JVC HA-FX500, no doubt. I am reviving this thread to ask a simple question: does anyone have ever listen to these counterfit?

I am asking this because my experiences with lots of chinese counterfit products in perfume tells me that the sound quality could be anyware between below 3$ Walmart earplug to... almost the same as the original (if not even better, I have seen this!).

So, if we forget one minute the JVC mascarade, do these 39$ IEMs (int'l shipping included!) sound more like the average 100$ IEMs or the 3$ IEMs? They could still be a great deal if they had managed to get some consistency.

Not that we should encourage such a con artist. Just out of curiosity ;-).

[EDIT]

Gee... we can also find them at 18,42$ here:

At least they don't pretend to be the real thing, which take care of my moral dilema. How bad can they be?
