Same ones that were listed for $30+k

PS The new forums are horrible. Asking me to lower my browsers security just to copy and paste. No spell check yet?

I'll go ahead and say what may (or may not) be an unpopular opinion. The actual high end discussion taking place in this forum is far more interesting than Ebay or Audiogon links with relatively little content and effort being put into the first post. It's merely a form of free advertising for the person selling their item and nothing more. Who is to stop someone from spamming the forum with links to any number of high end pieces being sold over the internet.

I don't think people will mind seeing this one. It is pretty rare to see isn't it. There is not even many AKG K1000 or good vintage Stax equipment out there to see. If there was reasonably priced

I wouldn't blow up my spot posting it here. It seems it is a sellers market for the good stuff right now. I hope you don't put these on your watch list or look to see what these go for when they are sold.

That would make you a hypocrite.

Good point although we have often noted unusual items for sale in these forums and this is certainly the most expensive headphone set-up out there.  I think I would want a line drawn at non-headphone items or this could  end up as an advertising site for high-end stuff.

I'm not watching it and I have no intent to buy an HE90. Not sure how that makes me a hypocrite if I was hypothetically watching the auction before it was posted here... anyone using Ebay's saved search feature easily could have found the auction through their emails which are sent hours after a listing goes up.

that's weird b/c it says "sale pend" on the a'gon ad.

Wonder how high will the winning bid be.  I'm listening to my HEV90/HE90 now and the combo is so darn musical.  I'm glad that I got a combo at such great price :)

What is the going price on a pair of HE90's these days?

The last time I was looking, it seemed like they were usually in the $6500 range.
